The concept of Toronto Automotive Forums began in 2004.  While looking for Canadian information on the newly released Mazda3, it became apparent that the majority of sites were geared towards Americans.  Discussions began with other Canadian Mazda3 owners and potential purchasers, and an idea came to mind.  Torontomazda3.ca was created to bring together a group of people from the Greater Toronto Area with a common interest in the Mazda3.  The primary focus of the site was a discussion forum that would provide members with the opportunity to discuss everything from pre-purchase questions to after-market modifications.  The other goal was to bring members together in person to gather and discuss these same items.  

Over the years the web forum has grown tremendously, and we have added members from Newfoundland to British Columbia to become the foremost site for Mazda and Mazda3 based discussion in Canada.

As our online presence has grown and matured, so have our topics of discussion and our in-person meets. We are still primarily automotive based, but there are regular discussions on a wide range of topics such as photography, electronics and computers. In 2004 our meets had at most ten attendees. Fast forward to 2010 and our spring season kick off meet had over 100 Mazda3's and their drivers in attendance. We now have almost 11,000 members, and 25,000 page views per day. In 2011 we will be branching out from our Mazda3 roots. We have just launched Torontomazda2.ca, and will be launching Torontoscions.ca in the spring.
